Mason County Historical Society is a Non-Profit organization that receives no tax support.
We are supported through donations, memberships, and sales revenue generated through ticket sales, gift shop sales, and programming opportunities.
In addition, the Society seeks grant opportunities when available and greatly appreciates the support of granting partners.
Their generous support helps the Society to continue our mission of preserving, protecting, and presenting the rich and vibrant history of Mason County.
The Mason County Historical Society received $6,000 from the Community Foundation of Mason County and the Gerald and Dorothy Hesplein fund. These funds will be used to bring to life the Mason County Heritage Vault at the Mason County Research Center. The Heritage Vault will display over 90 of our most treasured artifacts representing the history of Mason County.
The Mason County Historical Society is a private, non-profit educational organization, formally organized on November 30, 1937.
